Fantastic CD, good old music with a new twist - I love this CD, as a ballroom dancer, I found it offered a new twist to the old favorites. Most of the songs are terrific,upbeat and different.
Genius! - The album is appropriately titled Timeless because the classic bossa nova tunes are now being praised by later generations that gives the tunes no time limit. Once I heard the Mas Que Nada arrangement by Mendes and Will.I.Am, I was hooked. Every hip hop and bossa lover should have this in their collection.
Not liking this combo - Usually I like the new mixes but this one doesn t do it for me. The old Sergio Mendes albums stand alone and I much prefer the purity and smoothness of his early sound. I gave it three because the cover is awesome.
NIGHTMARE - Brazilian beats fused with Hip-Hop..........a marriage made in HELL! Don t waste your time or money.
great listen - i have enjoyed this album since i bought it. it s a great listen when you re cleaning. all the songs and artist did an excellent job putting this together. it really is a timeless album.
